“TEEJ CELEBRATION 2018”Posted on August 10, 2018 By Stanford International School “Teej” refers to the monsoon festival observed particularly in western and northern states of India. It marks the beginning of the festive season with social activities, rituals and customs. To celebrate this festival and make children aware of its importance Stanfordian’s wore colorful traditional dresses, applied Mehandi, had fun on swings and enjoyed traditional sweets. The dance on the tunes of traditional song was presented by kids. The contest of Stanford Punjaban and Mehandi Competition was also oraganised and the whole environment was full of festivity and zeal. The award of Miss STANFORDIAN PUNJABAN was achieved by Ms. Jasmine Kaur Johal ( 12th Com ) and the winner of Mehndi competition is Ms. Manjinder Kaur (12th Com). The honourable Management Member Mr. Vijay Garg (Chairman), Mr. Chamkaur Singh (Vice-Chairman) and Respected Principal Sir Mr. Ghanshyam Dass Naik and all staff member along with girl students enjoyed and celebrated the festival.
